Applicants must hold a current professional licence, registration, accreditation, or other recognised primary professional credential accepted by NexaTherapy for their practitioner category and practising jurisdiction

Overseas registrations, memberships, accreditations, and certifications may be submitted as supplementary credentials, but they do not by themselves determine onboarding eligibility unless expressly recognised by NexaTherapy.

Counsellors

Applicants must hold an accepted primary credential for counselling practice in the relevant jurisdiction.

Supplementary Credentials

Overseas registrations, memberships, accreditations, and additional certifications may be submitted as supplementary credentials.

However, they do not by themselves determine onboarding eligibility unless NexaTherapy expressly recognises them as an accepted equivalent primary pathway.

Additional certifications & modalities

Additional certifications, trainings, and modality-based qualifications may strengthen a therapist’s profile, but they do not replace the requirement to hold an accepted primary professional credential.

Therapeutic Approaches

Therapists may list therapeutic approaches and modalities, such as CBT, EMDR, where appropriate to their profile.

However, therapeutic approaches and modality-based certifications do not by themselves determine onboarding eligibility.
